After a groundbreaking introduction of VAIO X505 back in 2003, when a beautifully engineered slim carbon fiber with chicklet keyboard was unveiled to the world, Sony took its sweet time before announcing another model in its X series and it happened today at IFA in Berlin. This new ultra portable, dubbed Vaio X, will feature a LED backlit 11.1 LCD, possibly a Atom processor (Sony is not confirming that, yet), 120GB HDD, 2GB memory and supposedly a long-lasting battery. Usual I/O includes 2 USB ports, VGA, MS/SD card reader, WiFi/WWAN We will update you on full specs soon! But the notebook does look sweet, let’s just hope its performance will be as sweet!
Sony is quoted as saying that it will cost less than “two thousand.” More details are coming around October.
