An 8.1 Megapixel Phone With Xenon Flash? Sony Says Yes!
Sony introduced the world’s first Cyber-shot (C905 in Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold) slider today with 8.1 megapixel capability. While high-megapixel camera phones are nothing new (Samsung has reached a higher megapixel count long ago), it is the first time Sony has ventured this high with their mobile phones. What differentiates this phone from others is the features included with the high megapixel count to make it actually worthwhile for point and shoot operation. The C905 should be available in Q4 2008.
