Paulina Bozek is an executive producer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and the woman behind the successful Sing Star music-game series. She is responsible for a multi-million-pound budget and a team of 50, and is one of the few senior women in the industry. Management Today has recently recognized her for the 2008 list of ’35 Women Under 35′, a corporate a-list of women with management positions in promiment companies who are successful.
A graduate of the London School of Economics, Paulina Bozek is executive producer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, working on the highly successful Playstation music games series, Sing Star. Shortly after joining in 2003 from Ubisoft in Canada, Bozek was awarded the first Bafta Interactive New Talent Award and, in 2005, Sing Star was awarded a Bafta for originality.
“When I came into Sony five years ago,” said Bozek, “it was pretty unusual to see woman producers. But Sony was welcoming and wanted to get more women involved, because the industry is trying to attract a new audience. Games have grown beyond boys’ toys.”
