Best Buy Express Landing In Major US Airports

You may have seen a contraption like the picture above in the past. Several Macy’s stores have similiar units already; it looks like a vending machine that someone stole from Japan and installed in your locale. Well, one could say that the future is here, because it won’t be much longer until we can buy just about everything through these types of vending machines. In all honesty however, I wish that they would install machines of this type that prank people – maybe a pie in the face or dumping water on their head. That probably wouldn’t go over too well.

Starting soon, Best Buy will be introducing the vending machine pictured above to major US airports by September 1st. Nine are already in place, with the others soon to be available at Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Dallas (DFW), Houston (IAH), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis (MSP) and San Francisco (SFO). It’s safe to say that if you live in a major metropolitan area that your airport will have one, too. Best Buy promises to keep prices low in its vending machines. “These are not airport prices,” said Jeff Dudash, a representative for Best Buy. “Customers can expect the same type of price on items that they’d find in our retail stores.”

Consumers should expect to see gadgets, chargers and other smaller devices in the Best Buy kiosks. No immediate word is available on how products will be chosen, but the PSP has been confirmed, and that’s a good thing for Sony.
