Japan Gets More Color Options, Speaker Stand For S-Series Walkman

In a not so surprising move, Sony Japan has released information and pricing for S-Series Walkman for its consumers. Check out Sony Japan’s funky S-Series promotional video at Sony Insider Video. I always feel that Sony gives their home country cool color variants while the rest of the world may get an extra color rather than the usual black or red. Japanese consumers will have access to three colors available nowhere else – gold, lime, and white as well as the black, red, dark pink, light pink, and teal. Is it just me or is that lime more of a chartruce color? Yeah, that’s right..I said chartruce. Also, Sony Japan announced a NW-S630FK variant, which is simply a NW-S6* series bundle (in 4 or 8gb) that includes a 2W speaker/charging stand (SRS-NWGT10). Sony was courteous enough to make the SRS-NWGT10 color-matched and include a power adapter that can be used nearly worldwide.
