Sony Europe has already taken the lid off the long-awaited v4 firmware update for the Sony DSLR-A700, which is conflicting with Sony (USA) Electronics Blog noting the firmware would officially debut in America on September 16th. Why offer it to European consumers before American consumers? As far as Sony Insider can tell, there will be no difference between the European and American update. Click to visit the Sony Europe site which has the A700 v4 firmware update that many consumers are already enjoying around the world. Just hit “Accept” and your download should start from a Sony Japan server.
