During the 2008 Tokyo Game Show, Sony has announced several new products and software for the Playstation family. One product that flew relatively under the radar is a simple Mini-B USB AC Adapter (model CECHZA1). This allows you to power your PS3 controllers (DUALSHOCK or SIXAXIS), a PSP (2000 and 3000 series), or the new Sony PS3 bluetooth headset. It will be nice for some owners who don’t own a 3rd-party dock to have the ability to charge their devices accordingly. This could potentially work for other devices as well that share the same voltage charge (5V) of the aforementioned devices..
Expect this in Japan for about 2,880 yen ($27USD) on December 18th.
