I’m in the process right now of rendering our video clips from Sony’s 2009 CES Keynote at the The Venetian (Palazzo Ballroom), but while you wait I decided to post some behind the scenes pictures. Sony’s 2009 CES Keynote was probably the best we’ve ever seen in terms of overall presentation, and it wasn’t because it had celebrities out the ying-yang, including Sir Howard Stringer, Kaz Harai, Tom Hanks, Reggie Jackson, Dr. Oz, Usher, and more. Honestly, what made the Keynote so great is that Stringer lead the way – his charismatic personality, intelligent demeanor and years of experience creating entertainment for the public truly shines. By the way – the picture above is of Stan (right) and I (left) right after the keynote.
Here’s some of the sound equipment used for the Keynote:
One of the HD cameras used for the twenty foot screens on each side of the stage:
The twenty foot screens also showed 3D footage. To achieve this, they put two 4K projectors on each. Here are the 4K Projectors with 3D attachments:
Outside the ballroom, which seriously had about 1,000+ chairs:
Here’s a shot that didn’t make it in the Liveblog – the PSN user ID of the demonstration PS3 that showed off the Playstation Store and some of the games. Feel free to add this username as a friend, I guess?
Stay tuned for our HD video clips of this Keynote, and much much more!
