electronicentertainmentexpo

Just wanted to give you an update about coverage of Sony at E3 2009. Unfortunately, Sony Insider will not be present but we will be watching a live stream and use cherrypicked photographs and screenshots from around the web to give you comprehensive coverage. We will be using the Cover It Live system within the blog post. Don’t think we want you to depend solely on us, however, as we present to you several methods to watch Sony’s upcoming titles for the rest of 2009 and beyond.

Sony’s E3 Presentation for 2009 starts tomorrow at (thanks for this, joystiq):

08:00AM – Hawaii
11:00AM – Pacific
12:00PM – Mountain
01:00PM – Central
02:00PM – Eastern
07:00PM – London
08:00PM – Paris
03:00AM – Tokyo (June 3rd)
04:00AM – Sydney (June 3rd)

Today I watched the Microsoft E3 press conference/presentation and it was a pretty good gauge as to where to go if you want to know everything as they say it. The best option of course is a live feed opposed to a live blog posting. It’s incredibly obvious when you are able to watch it and compare to a live blog, but I understand the need for live blogs because they are exciting, and capture each moment (if done well). It’s also a good option for those who can’t simply access live feeds at the time. Nonetheless, I always encourage everyone to watch at least the recorded version at a later point, because there is guest stars, excellent production value, and exciting trailers of the new and upcoming content.

All of you out there who have the G4TV network can just watch the presentation live on television.

To watch Sony’s E3 presentation live on the Internet:

Sony will be offering the presentation in a replayed format in the evening on Playstation Home. I’m a little disappointed they can’t be showing it live, but it is still a nice effort. Thanks, Sony.
