Peter Berg confirmed to MTV that Charlize Theron will be returning for the sequel to Hancock.
At the close of the first film, [Spoiler] it was revealed that both Smith and Theron’s characters were the last of a powerful race of immortal all powerful god’s. The god’s would separate themselves from one another as, once in proximity to each other, they lost their power’s. Berg revealed that they may not be the only two as previously thought.
In regards to who might play that role, he said “We have [someone in mind].” “I’m not gonna tell you who, but we have!”
No firm release date for the film has been set although IMDB lists a tentative date of 2012. Given Will Smith’s busy schedule, this could be plausible.
