Sony Japan released today an exclusive CONNECT Player Playlist Export Tool [1.0.5.6160] for users of WALKMAN A series – A3000/A1000/A1200/A608/A607/A605. The new CONNECT Player Playlist Export Tool will simplify transfer of tracks from CONNECT Player to the recently released SonicStage CP 4.0.
Note: It is imperative that users alike have the latest CONNECT Player to utilize the CONNECT Player Playlist Export Tool; and ensure that the device is initialized/formatted within CONNECT Player to ensure proper transfer process with SonicStage CP 4.0
The process is fairly simple. For your convenience, please review the following screen captures:
Artist Link info acquired in CONNECT Player will need to be reacquired by using the “Get CD Information Automatically” option within SonicStage CP 4.0.
Similarly, music ratings will need to be reapplied as well.
Once a WALKMAN A series is connected to the PC, the user will have a choice to select auto or arbitrary transfer of tracks registered in “My Library.”
At the moment, user of WALKMAN A Series can download the tool direct from Sony Japan or within our “Download” section.
