According to a recent comment by a spokesperson in SCE Australia, it appears that Australian consumers may not have access to the 160GB PS3 announced a few days ago at the Leipzig Game Conference. The spokesman, who spoke to Gamespot AU, noted that the 160GB PS3 is a “limited-edition SKU across all PAL territories that we haven’t been able to make available for Australian consumers.” He also added that, “Any consumers who want more space, the option’s still available to purchase a notebook drive and upgrade.” We previously covered the announcement of this new bundle, which also includes the hit game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a PLAYSTATION Network voucher for PAIN, and a DUALSHOCK3 wireless controller.
