Every Saturday morning I have to wake up around 6:30am and get ready for school. I take two classes that are essentially back to back as I work towards a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing. The first class is Business Information Systems, which is essentially a low level primer that helps students learn about Excel, Word, Powerpoint and creating websites. The class is a bit boring as I am familiar with most of this content and I often find myself wandering around aimlessly on the Internet. Often, I search around Google News or a few Japanese sites for Sony news that I missed during the week. If nothing turns up there, then I browse CNN, engadget, Gizmodo, The Superficial, usemycomputer, and so forth.
Sometimes I like to pop out Google translator and wander around Sony Japan’s website. While I understand what Sony is trying to accomplish here at their Core 2 Duo page, it is impossible to escape the fact that the cartoon characters are totally crazy. The fruity clothing, the crazy party hats, the weird facial hair and the silly environments all come together and illustrate the functionality of a dual-core processor. I love it.
However, it honestly reminds me of a bad acid trip..
