Capcom store for the PSN is coming soon. It should be up in November, during the launch of Age of Booty. You’ll be able to get all the Capcom addiction doses you need there. Further proving Capcom’s dedication to the PSN, Siliconera has uncovered evidence (specifically an ESRB rating) of an upcoming downloadable version of Street Fighter Alpha 2 to be released on the store sometime in the future.
“Out of all of the third-party companies making use of the digital space, Sony recognizes Capcom is one of the best partners for content. We’re supporting PlayStation Network like no other company,” Capcom’s digital product manager, John Diamonon offered.
Capcom’s vice president of business development and strategic planning Christian Svensson also chimes in: “Sony’s taking advantage of one of the benefits of digital, in that there are multiple ways to sort, search and put things in front of people.
“As far as Microsoft goes, how can I say this diplomatically, there are things I think they’d like to do to promote content in multiple ways, and I think they’ll get there eventually – but they’re not there yet.”
