Amy Pascal was named Co-Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment in September 2006, and has been very successful in her time with Sony. Amy was recently named one of the most powerful women in entertainment by Hollywood Reporter, earning a No. 3 spot on the list. Pascal has also served as Chairman of the Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group since December 2003. Responsible for all aspects of Columbia’s business, including marketing, distribution and home entertainment. Studio’s Spider-Man franchise brought in $2.5 billion worldwide. Known for talent relationships with Judd Apatow, Adam Sandler and Will Smith; green-lighted Apatow’s Superbad after other studios passed. Previously worked at Twentieth Century Fox and Turner Pictures.
