Apparently Google has delved further into world domination and rolled out an elementary commercialized Music Search.
Interestingly enough, it has a “Buy Song:” feature that convienently features Sony Connect, iTunes and many other music vendors. There are a variety of options for searching, and you can also see which vendor has the lowest price (no bitrate listed, however). Has Google just aligned themselves with all of the major “AOD” (audio on demand) suppliers or is this a silent association? Unfortunately, we didn’t come across allofmp3.com in the listing, nor did the database seem that complete — considering what information Google has of the music world and the partnerships it has fostered, one could only expect more — perhaps this could be an interesting development for mobile use in some form.
A search for a favorite Radiohead song of mine returned this relevant result:
Sony Connect is often found exclusive for many individual songs and sometimes albums.
