In a move that personally affects me, over the weekend several blogs and news sites reported that Hulu on the PS3 was no longer working. Users are able to access the website, browse television shows and movies, and even go to a page with their selected clip. Upon pressing play a message appears that says, “Unfortunately, this video is not available on your platform. We apologize for any inconvenience.” This really is disappointing because I was just watching Conan O’Brien on Hulu in the other day through my PS3! It was decent playback in the “HD Mode,” which is a decent 480p stream (slight stuttering though unfortunately) and I was excited to be able to watch on my TV. There are many alternatives out there though to get the PS3 to play back Hulu, Netflix, etc. It is a DLNA compatible device after all. What’s your favorite method?
