With a new debut of VAIO X and CW as well as VAIO Touch L desktop, Sony also threw in a few new accessories for those who like to add some VAIO prOn to their collection (I admit I have a problem with it, tons and tons of VAIO accessories here). So while browsing the net and collecting some interesting bits and pieces for my future posts, I came across this new VAIO Bluetooth Laser Mouse VGP-BMS80.
At first I thought it was a new iteration of the VAIO BT Presenter I picked up earlier VGP-BRMP10 (a nifty lil presenter with mouse touch pad):
However I realized it was actually a Bluetooth Laser mouse with the following specs:
Bluetooth® Laser Mouse
• Dual function of PC remote control and multi-function laser mouse
• Remotely control PLAYSTATION® 3 to enjoy web browsing (No game control)
• Software keyboard to input words easily
This mouse as you can see the bold wording above is also pushed by Sony to work with PLAYSTATION 3 Gaming console and it looks like this mouse would be a good fit for your hand and a nice way to browse through the menus as well. One of the integrated controls in this mouse is “OFS (Optical Finger Sensor) with a four way control.
As mentioned in the specs it also will help you easily input text in search engines or anywhere else you want to use the software keyboard:
If you know Japanese and want to read Developer’s story about this mouse, check it out here.
VGP-BMS80 should be available soon through SonyStyle stores as well as at SonyStyle.com for under a Benjamin.
